Captain FTP passe en version 3.1. Il reprend le look metal inauguré avec Safari et est totalement compatible avec Mac Os X 3 entre autre.
Voici le communiqué de presse :
The version 3.1 is improved and optimized for use with the newest Mac OS X Panther.
The nice-looking Safari-like metal user interface is now extended with new Transfer Manager. It allows users to create and further manage a queue of files to be downloaded.
This is a second Captain FTP 3.x version which continues its 3rd generation release.
Apart from the highlights there are many smaller improvements including new interface themes, long-waited one browser window work mode and improved daily work ergonomics through added new ’Last visited folder’ options and re-designed contextual menu.
Thereby, the 3rd generation of the software significantly differs from its predecessors. After rewriting user interface into the Cocoa Captain FTP has opened unlimited possibilities of further easy development. Just in two months there were added server to server transfer ability, local and remote favorites management, Safari-like editable Toolbar for quick connections and many others. What is the most important, the very stable and reliable FTP engine allows to use all of these features without any computer performance influence. Famous German precision, well-thought details and constant development supported by updater make it even better and more reliable from day to day.
